Alliyah’s Live performance combined live vocal scores and analoge hardware with a physical installation and movement. The hand painted circular pool recreated the original quote from Ovid’s Metamorphoses which describes the ‘silvery pool’ Narcissus stared upon, falling in love with his own reflection. Individually sculpted metallic pots lined the space- filled with their own iradescant liquid which Alliyah used to paint herself silver, symbolising Echo morphing into stone.}
